I got started working with German Shepherds back in the early 1990's and was really only interested in working my dogs. After I managed to get my first couple of dogs titled. I decided I wanted to make sure I could keep the bloodlines I had. I then bought a female puppy out of a similar line and after she was titled I got started with breeding occasional litters. Since I bought my first German Shepherd, I have managed to train and title dogs in Schutzhund as well as getting a couple AKC Obedience titles. I have had some fun working and learning to train a dog for cadaver recovery. My main focus is still on having a good all around dog that can be a solid working dog but also a dog which can be part of the family. |
